Homemade Lemonade

Homemade Lemonade

This recipe is so easy and is a great treat for the summer months to sit down and refresh with. I also think it might be a little healthier then the store bought brands because you can control how much sugar you want to put into it. I got the original recipe from recipe.com but changed it up a bit.

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups white sugar (this can vary depending on your taste buds)

8 cups water

1 1/2 cups lemon juice

Directions

In a small pan, put the sugar and 1 cup water together.

Bring to boil and stir until you dissolve sugar.

Allow sugar mixture to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.

Remove any seeds from lemon juice.

In a pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.

Enjoy!
