I recently joined the online community of artists on Etsy and found it very rewarding. Etsy is a virtual store where creative people can sell and buy all things that are handmade. Etsy also sells items that are antiques and vintage. You can find artwork, jewelry, clothing, pet accessories, and even baked goods made to order. 

To buy off Etsy all you need to do is register for free and then search their directory for the items you are interested in. Each listing will state the price and shipping costs so there are no hidden fees. To sell on Etsy you need to register also for free and you get to set up your own little shop. The seller gets their own URL that lets customers go directly to the shop. The costs are only 20 cents to list an item with up to 5 images included and if the item sells they only take off 3% of the listed price. 

If your a crafty person or just like to purchase crafts then Etsy is a must one stop shopping experience. You should definitely check it out. Plus you will be supporting the small businesses and self employed artists of this world.
