I just discovered a really cool site that allows your to design and create your own shoes. I stumbles upon this Web site by going to the Keds site, Keds.com. Keds has joined up with Zazzle.com to allow it’s customers to make their own personalized pair of Keds shoes. The possibilities are endless when creating your new pair of Keds. You can add photos, different images, or even artwork to your shoes. Text is also an option with a very large variety of fonts and colors. The site offers templates as well to start off with that includes stripes, polka dots, and floral designs. All you need is an imagination. These Keds start at $60, but I have seen Keds run a lot more in those little clothing boutiques. 

Zazzle.com not only offers Keds shoes to create, but also t-shirts, coffee mugs, posters, keychains, and much more. Once you design your merchandise, you can open an online gallery shop, where you can post your creations up for sale. They do take a huge commission, but they allow you to set the money percentage you want to receive. 

Being an artist, I feel that this site opens the doors to having merchandise of ones artwork. If someone buys your item, it’s free advertisement. There is no set up charges or monthly fees, so that is also great since we all seem low on cash these days. I recommend this site to anyone who wants to personalize and create something.
