Promotional tools for your Small Business
Promotional tools for your Small Business
Recently I have started an online arts and crafts business and basically had no clue on how to promote and get my stuff noticed. I researched the many different promotional ideas that help small businesses get on their feet. Being an artist is hard and when you start selling, your art business can go nowhere.
Having set goals is key and will help with starting out. A few promotional tools that should be a must for your business is to…
Have some form of advertising Web site. It can be a MySpace page or blog of some sort, but it is key to have some form of online presence. This can allow people to stumble upon your items and business while they are surfing the web. It also gives them the ability to get your contact information and see pictures of your products.
2. Have business cards with your email, business name, online site, and an image of a product that goes along with what you sell. I have a image of my art on mine. Pass these out everywhere and place them on bulletins.
3. Promote and post on forums, other blogs, and wherever you can.
4. Submit your online site / blog to advertisement servers like, Entracard or linkreferral.5. Summit your site to search engines such as Google and Yahoo.
6. And most important, never give up.
Have anymore promotional ideas, Let me know! I too am just starting out and would love some more tips and tools.
