Personal Pita Pizza

Pita Pizza

Finding recipes and dinners that the whole family will enjoy can be difficult sometimes and frustrating. I am lucky to have a husband that will eat anything I put in front of him, but growing up the family dinners were challenging for my mother because everyone liked different things. My sister didn’t eat any red meat, I really don’t like chicken, my father only ate certain things (he is very picky), and my mother was left with this burden of dinner. I learned from this and I try to make meals that allows people to choose their ingredients. For example when I do taco night, I lay out a wide variety of ingredients such as tomatoes or onions, and each person can make their taco they way they like. Another great rcipe for those picking eating people is Pita Pizza’s. They are personal size and can have any ingredient.

Must have Ingredients:

1 pita bread round person pizza

drizzle of olive oil per pita

Optional Ingredients (Can choose whatever you like)

pizza sauce

shredded mozzarella cheese

sliced mushrooms

olives (black or green)

meats should be cooked prior to putting on pizza

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 (can differ from oven to oven)

Spread one side of the pita with olive oil and chosen ingredients

Place on floured and oiled baking sheet

Cook until cheese completely melts, about 5 minutes.
