Stuffed Jalapenos
Stuffed Jalapenos
Stuffed jalapenos are a great snack, treat, or appetizer but they are usually from a box, come frozen, and have to be heated up. There is nothing homemade about it. Although these boxed stuffed jalapenos are very yummy, they shouldn’t be used as an appetizer for a big party where you are trying to impress. Instead try a homemade version of this tasty treat. Remember that jalapenos are very spicy but are so os good.
Ingredients…(serves 11)
2 (12 ounce) jars whole jalapeno peppers - drained, halved and seeded
1 (9 ounce) can bean dip
1 (4.25 ounce) can chicken spread
shredded cheddar cheese
sour cream
Directions…
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Drain, halve, seed, and rinse jalapeno peppers.
Drain the jalapeno peppers on paper towels again.
*Be very careful when handling the jalapeno peppers. Your hands might burn from the peppers, use plastic gloves if possible.
In a small bowl, stir together bean dip and chicken spread.
Stuff the peppers with this mixture.
Sprinkle the stuffed jalapenos with cheese.
Arrange the peppers on the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.

Leave some sour cream on the side for dipping.
