Tea as a gift! Create your own!

This holiday, since my budget is not as plentiful as last year, I have been trying to think of fun and unique ideas for gifts that I can make at home. I wanted the gifts to be affordable and cheaper than those in stores. I also wanted these gifts to be special, from the heart, and something the receiver will enjoy. 

I decided to make herbal tea baskets for my mother and mother in law, since they both are big tea drinkers. I started by buying different varieties of teas. I bought packages of tea at my local grocery store when they were on sale. I found two decorative boxes, one per mother, that were small enough to wrap, but big enough to fit each tea box. I took each box and filled it with paper tinsel, placed different tea boxes in each box, put the top back on, and wrapped it in festive paper and sealed them with a bow.

Each box came out great and can be shipped without worry.
