Perfect Cookie Icing

Perfect Cookie Icing

Making cookies for the holidays is one of my favorites things to do… besides eating them. I enjoy creating different kinds of cutouts such as the classic snow man, ginger bread men, and Santa Claus. After baking these yummy treats, I like to decorate them in different and uniques ways. To start off the cookie, before I even decorate it, i also put on my favorite, very popular, and very easy icing. This icing works great as a base for any decorating and it also works great as glue for your ginger bread house.

What you need…

Milk

Confectionary sugar

Food coloring

Directions…

Place confectionary sugar in bowl.

Add milk very slowly.

Only add enough milk until you get the desired consistency.

Add a drop at a time of food color to make desired color.

Spread onto cooled off cookie.

Let icing harden on cookie before decorating.
