Personalizing your Stockings

Stockings are always a huge part of the holiday season. My family always had tow sets of stocking that my mom would switch on and off between each year. Still to this day I have and use my stockings. When I moved out of my parents house I kept my stocking, but my husband did not have one. His family stopped decorating when the children left and somehow his stocking got lost or thrown away. I decided since my stocking was so special to me, to find one that would be as special to him.

I purchased a cute stocking that had Goofy on it since he always makes me laugh (talking about my husband), but the stocking was just a stocking and not personal. I then decided to put his name on it. I got some colorful holiday glitter and glue and started. I spelled his name out in glue, sprinkles on the glitter, and let it dry. He loved it and we use it every year. Personalize your stocking with anything you like using this easy method. Remember that glitter is very messy and is even messier when children use it, so keep that in mind.
