Fun Drinks for your Next Party
Having a party but don’t know how or what drinks to make! This is always a problem for me when I entertain because I am not a huge alcohol drinker. I like wine, but not everyone at my parties is a wine enthusiast and I try to please everyone. When figuring out what drinks to make, I always start with the basics. I make sure I have clear and brown liqueur to please the masses, but I also have to keep in mind that one should not mix the two. Most people at my parties know what they like and stick to one kind of liqueur. Here are a few fun and easy drinks to make at your next party.
Cosmopolitan
1 shot glass full Vodka (clear liqueur)
1/4 shot glass triple sec
1 shot glass full cranberry juice
1 lemon wedge
In a shaker…
Put ice, add vodka, triple sec, and cranberry juice.
Shake well and strain into martini glass.
Garnish with lemon wedge.
Crown and Cola
1-1 1/2 shot Crown Royal (brown liqueur)
6 oz. cola
1 lime wedge
In a glass…
Fill with ice, add cola, and stir.
Garnish with lime wedge.
Wine Spritzer
4 oz. red wine
1 lemon wedge
4 oz. sparkling water
In a large glass…
Squeeze lemon wedge into glass.
Fill halfway with wine.
Add ice and fill with sparkling water.
Garnish with lemon wedge.
