Homemade Strawberry Daiquiri
On Christmas Eve this year I had the best strawberry daiquiri that I have ever had in my life. When you think of this drink, you think of a hot summer day and the drink usually comes from a store bought bottle. But this holiday season I had a homemade strawberry daiquiri made from scratch and it was so easy.
What you need…
A blender
Frozen strawberries (freeze the strawberries in a plastic bowl).
ice
water
sugar
vodka
How to make the drink…
Place frozen strawberries in the blender ( as many as you want).
Pour in a little sugar.
Add a couple of ice cubes. You don’t need as much because the strawberries are frozen.
Add vodka to taste.
Pour in 1/4 cup of water.
Blend, keep pouring in 1/4 cup of water as needed while blending to get consistency.
Pour in glasses.
* add whipped cream on top and unfrozen strawberry if desired.
