As an artist, I am always looking for new ways to promote my artwork. I recently heard of a Wen site that allows artists to promote their artwork online for free. The site is called artwanted.com and is definitely one to check out. I do not know how highly populated the site is, so I can not guarantee any sales directly from this site, but I feel that anyway of getting your art out there is worth the try. I have yet to actually post any of my art up, since I literally just heard about the site, but I am planning on posting images soon. Artwanted.com allows free members to post up to three images a month, but there is no limit to how many times you post. The paid membership is unlimited. Also you can sell directly from the site if you like, but if the site collects the money then they take a 15% commission out. If you advertise it, but do not sell directly from them, their is no commission. So check it out, promote your art, and hopefully get a sale.
